Fettes College is a leading co-educational boarding and day school for children aged 7-18. We are situated in extensive grounds and woodland close to the heart of Edinburgh, Scotland. Our school has a reputation of high academic results and a proud sporting tradition.

Fettes College has eight houses (4 for boys, 3 for girls and 1 for both). Although situated in Scotland, Fettes College follows the English education system. Our pupils  take GCSEs rather than Scottish Standard Grades and, due to the recent removal of the Scottish Highers examination, students now have the choice between the A Level exam system and the new International Baccalaureate Diploma, but cannot take Scottish exams. Fettes College in one of three IB World Schools in Scotland.

The pupils of Fettes College wear chocolate and magenta coloured blazers and we have our own tartan featuring traditional kilt colours of green, blue and black and the Fettes colours of chocolate and magenta, with white stripes to add brightness.

Former PM Tony Blair and Oscar winner Tilda Swinton have attended Fettes College. Ian Fleming wrote in You Only Live Twice that James Bond had attended Fettes College.
