The Old Town

The cobweb of cobbled streets of the Old Town creates a sense of familiarity. When walking down the endless paths getting lost is impossible. Wherever you turn the streets always get you to your destination. The surrounding old houses with their countless windows are always watching as the tourists admire their cracks in their walls like they have battle wounds. The clear blue sky with its untouched features makes the Old Town look like a painted masterpiece.

The Old Town

The old town of Tallinn is like a life-size model of a perfect fifteenth century town. Some of its streets are as wide as the widest of Boeing airplanes, and some streets are not even wide enough to drive on. The intricacy with which the houses that reside in this glorious part of town are built is as complex as the shape of the universe, yet somehow the overall sight is as comprehensible as the letter A to a literate adult.

Walking around here feels like walking in an old museum. Everything is so old, yet quaint. Tourists are walking around the Town Hall square as they are little children in an amusement park for the first time. The buildings are beautiful, big and full of history and can tell you its history.  You cannot see anything like this somewhere else.  It is a unique place to be.
