Hello,
read this: [redacted]
Do you understand the text and what is being described? What else would you like to know about the proposed solution? Is anything especially unclear? Do comment.
Secondly, research filesystems. One group (of three) – FAT32 and NTFS, second group – ext2, HFS. Presentations tomorrow. Use Prezi or something, not boring old PP/GDocs.

Personally I wouldn’t use something like this because lets face it… Who needs more supervision? Don’t we have enough already? Why would I want to keep track of what I do? (perhaps if I was suffering from severe anterograde amnesia…)… but what ever floats ones boat 😀
But as when one is already hoocked, it could prove to be a good advertising/money-making application.
and yes, games=fun=win….
Lots of Yoda speech Paavo is using, yes.

The name will remind those who are most likely interested in this solution the game Bioshock, was that intended or just accidental?
Also, this is another fine example of the ‘gamified world’ that we live in, on which there is an interesting video here: http://youtu.be/_JXlf_z_px4

This is a good idea. However you’re playing on the edge of awesome and big brother-ness. Of course, getting cheevos for daily activities is a great idea, and would surely motivate me to do some form of “preferable” social activity. You could sell the idea to foursquare as an extension of their site 😛 . However, I think that it would be better if it actually was an app for smartphones. People would feel more comfortable if they had more control and certainly an “OFF” button they could hit at any time. If the telecom providers get in on the fun, it may result in crazy hippies going wild and setting fire to your servers. Whereas having it be an app would still stay on the safe side, somewhat. In addition, users should have more control about what’s monitored. Just to, you know, be safe, and, uhm, things.

Yes, valid points.
Though most of it is all about perception. That is, your cell service provider knows everything you do and where you are anyway.
Having a user-facing system to show you that info changes nothing about the true big-brotherness of today’s technology.
