Da mihi feedback
Dear Silver, let me start this right off with a pun: you are positively charged!
Now to the bad bits!
I am sure you have noticed how we all make jokes about your horrible English? Well there’s a simple solution to that! Seeing as you have acquired a personal laptop (good job! +10 Bro points) I suggest you install this nifty little application: http://wordweb.info/cgi-bin/geoip/wordweb.exe (GET IT NOW!)
I understand that IB wants you to bullsquirrel a lot but PLEASE get to the point more often/faster, essays are the place where to bullsquirrel a lot about different kinds of bullsquirrel but try to acquire more… verbal agility if I may say so.
Otherwise: all is improving well!
DEAREST SLIVER
The good
You’ve got interesting viewpoints and alot to say. Also, very strong views on which type of computer is best. It is always nice for someone to chime in with an opposing (wrong) viewpoint.
The bad

You have a kickass laptop!
As pointed out earlier, you are positively chargerd.
You take stuff seriously enough, sometimes there are fact errors or you have just misunderstood stuff, but otherwise Well Done!
–
Your English sometimes fails, but this hasn’t happened in a long time, so Okay!
Mayhaps don’t see the humor in things and take them Wayy too seriously, but that’s only my opinion.
You know how to give good constructive criticism but sometimes you let your own opinions cloud your judgement. You should concentrate really on your grammar because this is a vital aspect in writing essays. When you are speaking in front of the class then try to do it a bit more calmly and not be so nervous because when you start to mutter words and get lost then it really distracts the listeners. The coding part is a challenge for you because you were absent practically all the important lessons but until now you have managed somehow. You should invest more time into this because summer is approaching.
I think you are generally doing quite well and the others have already pointed at the major issues. Just to recap:
Continue on the same path, basically, you’re not doing anything wrong, quite the contrary.

Great ideas
Strong opinions
Good presentations

DEAREST WARRIOR PRINCESS
The good
You’ve got M4D C0D1NG 5K1LLZ, and are always willing to help us out. You also write too much, but I suppose that is actually a good thing. Also, you add lots to the class by always having something to say.
In case of major distress, you also provide the rest of us eastern-bloc immigrants with sweet sweet music.
The bad
Your shirt is silly.
Also, sometimes you over-prepare for some things, which is not always good.
+ essays are as long as JESUS!
+ essays have dept and are quite well built
+ looking forward to your conclusion of your EE
– Don’t kill yourself if you get a ‘0’, its not you, its everybody
(I may or may not add more)
+
Your essays are always too long as are your powerpoints
The music you play in class is quite good
You care about the quality of the task, let it be a presentation, essay or some random idea from Paavo
You know the code of the INTERNET
–
Your presentations are too long
Dear Alex(ela – PALINDROMES ARE COOL), over the year that we have mixed and mingled in this great melting pot that is ITGS (and in private life, no homo) it has come to my attention that there’s nothing wrong about you, why the hell do you have to be so perfect!? TEACH ME O GREAT ONE!
You are very good @ ITGS. Your language is solid (if not exceptional), you analyse well and your presentations are always interesting (sometimes overtly thorough, though, see Prezi on file systems).
Your coding project is also going well and you are clearly motivated to study that.
Overall, you should be happy with your efforts and continue in a similar vein.
+
Motivation
Essays, Presentations = great

Really?
Feedback give me please!?
+ You have learned to give proper feedback (comments)
+ Presentations are always interesting (amusing, funny)
– Should take stuff more seriously (presentations)
(may be something more either +/-)
You laugh at my jokes, we can be friends.
IN ADDITION
You should probably try harder at your writing. You’ve become pretty damn good at coding but formulating arguments is not your strong suite.
Good job, brah
You actually take things seriously in class when needed but also tend to goof off too much. Jokes should be taken in moderation not in excess. Don’t be so emotional with the zeros. They do not mean anything. Just do what you need to do, it is not important if you miss the due-date. Presentation skills are quite good, a bit of humour goes a long way. Most of the time though I find it lacking in information because the comedy part is dominating. You know the topic but you do not use all of the knowledge. Your essays also depend too much on moods. You should always try to give it your best. At least with the coding part you have shown effort nad really tried to get things working. Good job!
In American comedies (and other films) they refer to people like you as “dudes”. It’s not strictly a word with a negative connotation, but then again, it’s not all good either.
You are terribly lazy and shallow. This may seem like a harsh statement, but in a group of six, these things become very apparent. Things have improved a lot since September 2010 (this is apparent in the coding sessions with Joel, for example), but I think you can be even more thorough.
Take, for example, your essays. You have solid points, but you do not take the time to really elaborate on them and thus they are very short and not specific enough. You need to spend more time on them and consider more aspects. Your English is fine (at least for ITGS), but you really DO need to spend some more time on essays.
That being said, you are very nice and friendly “dude” and you participate in discussions. And you have improved a lot since September, this is something which you should appreciate, but not let it go to your head.
We must somehow collaborate and start mending eachoters’ mistakes.
All the pros and cons that come up I usually spew in your face but we must be more… constructive!

Unique presentations
Not so silly jokes

Argh why?
I HAVE PANTS! DISCUSS
Do you also have trousers? Feedback shall not be given to any person without the required amount of trousers on them (100%).
I can not say anything to you witout being biased!
Fellow Apple-person, uh… yeah can’t do it.
Your essays are quite good often, you show a lot of effort. The website development has been you weakest point yet, there has been no effort whatsoever! Invest some into it otherwise the project is going to fail! Your a good public speaker you always know what your talking about and don’t need any vast amounts of notes. Too much slacking off in class looking at pictures, videos and saying stupid comments. You should take things more seriously and focus on the actual assignment not some worthless three year old jokes.
+/- Apple fanboy
+/- Grammar-nazi
+ Good viewpoints
+ decent essays

You make good joke!
You take tasks seriously enough
–
Your code writing is not as Powahful as it should be.
You are doing very well with the analysis and writing, not so well with coding, though. I do not really understand what the issue is: is a sort of systematic misunderstanding of all coding concepts or are we dealing with a simple case of extreme laziness?
For the ITGS project to be a success, you really need to get the basic coding concepts straight. Also, the jokes with the colours go too far and the impression I (and possibly Joel) get is that you’re not taking interface design as a serious concept, while actually it is the ONLY thing that basically matters to the regular user. They do not care about the database, they care about what they look at. And its good to practice properly and with a serious mindset, because later on it’s no longer possible to practice.
But very good, otherwise, too many jokes maybe, but you write and discuss well.
+
Good essays
Even better presentations
Laziness

Paavo & Joel do not approve
Preasu I require-u feedubacku-desu!
Here we go.
You DO NOT put enough effort into your essays and, especially, presentations. This I know, because occasionally there are bursts of brilliance, but these occur all too infrequently. Also, it seems you give up too easily when things become (in your opinion) too hard. It’s almost like you read the first line of code and throw your hands up in the air in desperation even though the answer is actually quite simple and does not require THAT much effort in the end.
All in all, you tend to write well (important for the exam), but you must make your analyses “deeper” and more thorough.
On a scale of A-C, I would rate your effort with a “C”, meaning there is a lot of room for improvement.
You are very talented at goofing off in class. Maybe you should cut down on the jokes a notch and focus on the lesson also. I mean jokes are great and all but too much will score you nothing. You have shown progress with the essays in the sense that you have finished them first. Your creative writing style adds a lot to the essay but in my opinion you should include more IT aspects into the actual topic. The coding lessons have not gone very smoothly for you recently. You should put more effort into that and not the creative writing aspect.
+ Presentations are interesting
+ Essay aka prose is entertaining => go join a literary club or sth, you’d do well
– There usually isn’t much dept to your essays/ presentations => less prose, more information
(I might think of more later)
– Douchebag
– Try to lessen your cybrespace footprint
– DOuchebag not DUTCHBAG, JEEZAS

Zero is not a number (I suck at maths)
+ Competitive with Physics, when it comes to interesting lesson construction and dept
+ We got to construct an actual tower computer… awesome
we never finished dealing with the computers
be gentle with the extensive use of the number also known as zero (only when necessary)
(I may or may not add more)
Will there be classes on motivation?
DEAREST…uhh…teacher…sir..
The good
Lessons are always interesting and a high-point in the day.
The assignments and essay topics are always interesting to both write and read about.
The bad
As the infotechnologist of our school, try and educate the other teachers how to operate info technology. If all the teachers posted everything on the web, our lives would be betterer.
The lessons are quite well structured and you seem to have thought everything through which is a plus. The essay topics sometimes are just so horrible but I am guessing that the topics at the exams will not be any better so it’s okay. You should not expect everybody to work at the same tempo especially with the coding part because some of us just take longer to understand everything. There is no point in making disappointed faces at us if we don’t get it! Maybe some more feedback during the presentations would be better because I feel it is a bit lacking. Everything should be corrected on time if we have to hand our works in on time. Otherwise I am pleased with the subject and the topics we have gone through.

Dear Taavi, over the time we have been together in this classroom I have noticed a few things, be they positive or negative. Here it goes: I have noticed you write good, solid and most important of all! long essays; they are filled with great ideas and, sometimes humor. You are also very helpful that’s always great!
However like every coin has two sides there’s also something negative about you. And I mean that literally you are probably like the second coming of Satan or in an evil cult or something/somewhere like that; what I’m trying to say is that you a scary maaaan! I understand that having to bothersome emotional connections is great but from I personal experience I can say you should socialize a bit more! be more open! make all nice!
Otherwise a solid 72 out of 10!

You’re rather obvoiusly the smartest one of the bunch. Luckily you’re not shy in helping us morons out with out code writing assignments. Also, cool to have around the Paffcave. Good job, mate!
The bad

You are most assuredly the smartest one in the class because you finish everything much faster than the others which is quite positive. You offer help in fixing things but you do it in such away that practically no words are expressed and then nobody understands anything. Sometimes it’s easier to explain everything as simply as possible. The level in your essays has decreased in my opinion which is a pity. When it comes to coding then it seems as if you know everything already. You should maybe try to speak more in the lessons and join the discussions because if you are really reticent then you leave a ominous image of yourself.
